I entered real estate as a salesperson in 1979 and have continuously worked in San Diego county for 36 years. In 1993 I obtained my Brokers license. I have worked as a salesperson with Aloha Realty, Tarbell Realtors, Coldwell Banker and McMillin Real Estate and as Office Manager with Coldwell Banker and McMillin prior to coming to DRW Real Estate Group. During my career, I am very proud to have been elected as President of Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors twice, Director to California Association of Realtors and also to National Association of Realtors.
I graduated from University of West Florida school of Music, with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. After graduating, marrying and having two children, I became interested in the real estate field. I worked several years in the mortgage banking and escrow divisions and was an escrow officer for WestStar Escrow and Chicago Title. I have held a State of California real estate license since 1997. After leaving escrow to work in the family property management business, I became the office manager and helped grow the business. In 2005 we incorporated and I continue to work as the President /CFO for the corporation.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, golf and reading.

A native of San Diego, I attended Tiffany Elementary, Bonita Jr. High and Bonita Sr. High. In 1997, I graduated from the College of Engineering at Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management. My first project out of college was the Arizona Diamondback Baseball Stadium in Phoenix, AZ with Perini Building Company. From there I found myself in a hotel niche with several companies building high-rise hotels in Arizona, New Mexico, and back here in San Diego, California. My most notable hotel projects include the Marriot- Del Mar, CA; Embassy Suites-Scottsdale, AZ; Hotel Del Coronado, CA renovation
I was offered an opportunity with DRW in 2005 and decided to make a career change to Real Estate. I received my Real Estate license that same year, while maintaining my contractor’s license current. I am active in our Real Estate community and was elected to the Real Estate Board of Directors for South Bay in 2010-2011, and I have maintained a position as Co-Chair of the Property Management Committee since then.
My education, experience and tenure in Construction Management, Property Management, and Real Estate Sales allow me to offer our clients a unique perspective on their investment, with value added modifications to increase your return on your investment and/or cash flow. During my time, DRW has maintained a growing clientele in Property Management, increased Real Estate sales volume, while implementing new technologies to better serve our clients.

I was raised in Chula Vista graduating from Montgomery High School, Southwestern College and in 1980 earned a BBA in business from National University. In 1988, the company I was working for closed, so I decided to pursue a career in Real Estate and obtained my Salesperson License. In 1989 began working in the field of Property Management as well as purchased my first investment property. I obtained my Brokers License in 2013, my career in Real Estate Sales and Property management has now reached over 30 years! During the past 5 years I have also volunteered as the Treasurer for my Home Owners Association.

My deepest desire is to help those in need. Whether it is serving through church ministries, helping people in general, through church or work, there is always someone in need. I have been told I have the gift of establishing harmony, which has allowed me to help in creating understanding between people such as clients, vendors, tenants, applicants. Helping families find a place to live, is most definitely one of the most rewarding ways to help that I have ever experienced.
I have over 30 years of legal, business and government experience combined. Every job position, volunteer work and church that I have been involved with, has provided opportunities for learning and have all contributed to who and where I am in my life today. One common denominator with each of my experiences, was helping others in need. Whether it provides technical and computer support, training, writing, organizing, volunteering efforts, team building or just simply providing emotional and spiritual support to friends and colleagues. Joining DRW has allowed me the opportunity to put my skills to use in ways I could not have imagined.
My greatest joys are my children, wonderful husband and church work.
